The mission of the 2nd Helping’s website is to help, support and look after, in any way possible, any ex 2nd Royal Tank Regiment (2RTR) or serving Royal Tank Regiment (RTR) member including attached cap badges, and their families.
Financial support can be offered when appropriate. Funds are raised from members donating money or items for auction/raffle/selling site/reunions etc. Financial support can be in the form of a grant which is not repayable, or a loan.
Non-financial support can take many forms using the network of MIB/WIB all over the world who help and support our cause. The aim of 2nd Helping’s in this respect is to connect the many clever, talented and willing Tankies out there with those in need.
The aim is to get more Tankies involved, and ideally have at least one Tankie in each major city/ town around the country, who is willing to assist any Tankie in need not just over the phone or email, but in person when necessary.

Community Updates
Look out for the weekly 'O' Group/update each Tuesday, this update is always accompanied by an email notification to all Registered Members. Create a friends list and talk with each other via our messaging system.

Reunions
Join us each year for our annual reunion all are welcome including wives, girlfriends and partners. Always held during the first weekend of March each year.
