I spoke to Nick via messenger a week or so before his passing he was on top form and I must admit I did shed a few, he definately was one of the good guys, catch you later old friend you are in extremely good company
RIP Smudge. It was a pleasure to know you, and if I can face going to the Green Fields with an 8th of the strength you had, then I’ll be a better man for it! Rest Easy brother. FN.
I don’t think that I ever had the pleasure of meeting you, Nick, but you were a ‘Tankie’, and that is good enough for me. Sincere condolences to your family and friends. May you Rest in Peace, Mate.
UPDATE : Nick passed at home, he had become Paralysed from the waist down and was being cared for at home.
